I needed to free myself from some anxieties which were holding me back from thriving. Working with Kay, was easy. She asks the right questions, listens, questions again if necessary, and delivers no judgement, just helps find a way for you to move on.
I can’t recommend her enough.
Actually I recommend her at any opportunity.

I have been lucky enough to have had Kay in my life for the past few months, and what a huge difference those few months have made! I have suffered with the effects of OCD and anxiety for all of my adult life and was getting to a very distressing place, where I simply couldn't cope with the symptoms of my mental health issues any longer. Naturally, coronavirus got in the way of a conventional therapist-patient relationship, but Kay made herself available to speak as often as possible. She used that time to support me through dark times, as well as to communicate coping mechanisms to enable me to get through future hardships on my own. Her caring nature made it very easy to speak openly to her, and her determination to have me answer difficult questions meant that I actually engaged more than ever before with her, as a therapist. She has sent me a lot of bitesize info-docs (after having told her that I am not a big reader of lengthy writing), and I was finally able to unravel some of the traumas that had affected me for years and dictated my life for so long. I am coping with things now that I had never dreamed I'd be able to before, and I put that wholly to the support that Kay has given me to a) understand my condition to the fullest; and b) source my inner strength that allows me to realise my own potential to make my life better.Kay has made an unspeakably large impact on my life and I am functioning in a much more 'normal' human way - in a way I never, ever dreamed would be possible. I owe so much gratitude to Kay for her efforts, I could never thank her enough.

Having often wondered about hypnotherapy, I decided to research a little bit and was delighted to find Focus Therapy in my local area.
After a very stressful few years, my anxiety was awful and my life had become very difficult. I no longer recognised myself, and knew I had to take action.
From my very first session, I was put at ease, I felt extremely relaxed talking to Kay and enjoyed learning about the benefits of hypnotherapy. I was excited to see if it would help.
Each session was different, some sessions stirred up some emotions and, a few days would pass after therapy and I would feel 'lifted' and rid of the things weighing me down.
I also liked the little bits of homework, learning how to change daily habits and tell myself positive affirmations morning and night.
Overall my experience has been extremely positive, I look forward to my sessions and love how relaxed I feel after. Kay is extremely knowledgable and easy to talk to. I am able to enjoy life again and feel happy to be feeling so much better.

Professional, welcoming and relaxing. Kay has helped me so much with her therapy and hypnotherapy sessions. I look forward to continuing and would highly recommend anyone who has been thinking of trying hypnotherapy to give her a call.

I had suffered, since childhood, a phobia of snakes. I decided to do something about it when we booked a holiday to India. Focus Therapy completely changed my outlook on snakes. I definitely no longer have a phobia.

Kay was recommend to me by a friend. I needed help putting myself first, coping with different forms of anxiety, and anxiety driven behaviour.
It's the best decision I've ever made, she's a great listener with no judgement.
She has assisted me with many types of coping mechanisms and I am a work in progress!
Highly recommend, if you're considering any therapy ... go for it, you have everything to gain and nothing to lose.
